Our STEAM program, designed for children aged three years and up, explores the wonders of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Children engage in hands-on activities that allow them to experiment and understand the processes influencing the world around them. This approach encourages curiosity and cultivates a passion for learning.
Yoga
We offer daily yoga sessions, which provide numerous benefits, including improved physical health, enhanced concentration, stress relief, better emotional regulation, increased self-esteem, and a foundation for lifelong wellness. Through daily yoga practices, children develop strength, flexibility, and balance while learning valuable techniques for relaxation and mindfulness.
Dance / Music
Monthly, we welcome professional dance instructors to teach various dance styles. This initiative enriches children's learning experiences and enhances their coordination, creativity, and confidence while nurturing an interest in creative expression from a young age.
Art and Crafts
Art and crafts, including activities like painting, coloring, and drawing, are fundamental to our childcare curriculum. They support children in developing fine motor skills and understanding concepts like color and texture. Engaging in these activities also provides opportunities for self-expression, emotional management, and creativity, all while experiencing a sense of achievement.
Reading/Storytelling
A librarian visits our daycare to read storybooks and present puppet storytelling, enriching children's learning experiences with engaging narratives and inspiring a passion for literature and creativity.
Show and Tell
Show and Tell day is a special time when children share their thoughts and feelings with friends. It's a great opportunity for them to learn more about each other and discover their favorite things through sharing. Show and Tell encourages children to build confidence in speaking and sharing their ideas with others, developing communication skills as they describe their favorite toys, hobbies, or experiences.
Multicultural Day
Multicultural Day highlights our diverse community, welcoming individuals from various cultural backgrounds. We cherish these differences and similarities by encouraging children to share their family stories and cultural experiences, fostering connections and creating a friendly, inclusive environment.
Reduce and Reuse
Recycling materials give children the chance to assist mother nature by transforming materials into craft projects or useful items. This activity helps develop fine motor skills and encourages innovative thinking to repurpose materials effectively.
Loose Parts
Loose Parts Play enhances creativity and imagination. By handling and arranging materials, children can invent their own worlds and scenarios. This open-ended approach provides endless possibilities for exploration and discovery, allowing children to think creatively and express themselves in innovative ways.
